In Texas, the Dental plan is known as Cigna Dental Choice, and this plan uses the national Cigna DPPO Advantage network.
The Military Health System (MHS) is responsible for the overall oral health and readiness of service members—both active and the Reserve component. Additionally, the MHS offers dental insurance plans that all other TRICARE beneficiaries can purchase if they choose. The Select Supplement Insurance Plan also pays 100% of Covered Excess Charges up to the TRICARE Legal Limit. The Select Supplement Insurance Plan has a fiscal year plan deductible of $250 per person or $500 per family maximum. If you are an Active Duty Member, there is also a plan for your Dependents.
