Hold the handle of the device firmly and pull the filter grid downwards by sliding it along the power cable, then gently opening it in half at the opening provided. Wash the filter cage, and therefore the removable part, under warm tap water. Shake the filter to remove most of the water, then let it completely air dry.
Turn off and unplug your hair dryer from the power source. Remove the filter and clean it thoroughly. Let the hair dryer cool down for at least an hour.
