Hey friends. New here and new to this bike. I ride,, I have a VTX1800 custom Retro and A Ultimate classic Harley A few hours ago I was gifted a Kawasaki VN 800 Classic 2002 with No tank but the rest seems to be here. Last year I rebuilt a CLUB CAR with the FE350 ( Lawnmower engine) so I want to add a v twin water-cooled rumbling power plant that is reliable.Oct 1, 2017 · 2. When pushing the start button, the starter motor engages as it should. 3. 3 out of 4 times (approx) the engine doesnt fire. Not so much as a fart or misfire. 4. The problem is it has a low throttle low speed hesitation. It runs good at highway speeds but when getting going it sometimes hesitates/stumbles when I give it just a little throttle. Just bought a 9,100 mile Vulcan 800, 2004. At first the engine was rough, have not been started in about 8 months. Took it home cleaned it up. Next day I noticed every time going into 1st gear hot or cold it clunk's, even riding it going into 2nd gear. Anybody out there have this problem with there Kawasaki 800. please let me know thanks. A quick check is to remove the cable from the hub and spin with your fingers while looking for movement on the speedo needle. If it moves, your problem is in the hub. If it dont move, it may be you cable.
