The plow has been acting up pretty much since I bought it lightly used just over a year ago. Initially the hand held controller would shut off continuously some storms when any of the function buttons were pressed.

The plow will not respond to the controller at all. No noise, no movement, nothing. Here is what i checked: All fuses on the truck. Electrical connection between plow and truck.

The red cable from the trucks fuse box has 12v power to where it disappears into Fisher's harness. Both the fuses look fine, but I did not test resistance across them. This valve stands straight up out of the valve and kind of looks like a big acorn. This valve is not really serviceable as it operates at very high pressures is adjusted at around 4000psi.The plow module is responsible for taking signal from controller and providing ground to solenoids to operate and run the plow motor. Edit: actually take them off entirely and then retighten them. Don't look at them and declare them "checked". Chattering on the plow side comes from a low voltage situation.

If not, then it's stuck and your best bet is to replace it. If you find it doesn't have magnetism, then either the coil isn't getting power (or ground) so you need to start checking your connections, or the coil itself is bad. Start at the wire connections at the coil checking for power and ground with a test light.
