Ele builds will do much better once we have access to better gear. ele damage once you hit white sharpness gets a much higher boost than blue. (I believe blue is 1.065 and white is 1.15 for ele modifiers.) There are very few weapons that can get to white that are worth using and building around.

But be wary of the monsters your fighting. For example, never bring pierce to Zinogre. Spread is spread, it does good damage. Normal is still normal. Slicing is back to being good. Sticky ammo is still sticky ammo. And we already have a Sticky LBG. Not sure if something else has been discovered to be better yet.
