Rosetta 2 was launched in 2020 with masOS Big Sur to ensure the transition from Intel to Apple Silicon (M1). Will Pixinsight be able to make the transition to Apple Silicon soon. The scenario could well repeat because if Rosetta 2 is no more included in future macOS updates, what will happen then to us poor Pixinsight users on Apple Silicon?…LOL? Guys, I just wanted to share a process I came up with in pixelmath that I call Narrowband Normalization that allows you to normalize SHO or HOO (or HOO from a OSC) data in a drag and drop process. I use the offset/scaling normalization method to match the OIII and or SII to that of the Ha signal.
