Late last week, Jackson County and Josephine County animal services sent out a plea for help as their shelters were reaching crisis capacity levels. SoHumane provides a safe haven for area residents who can no longer care for their cherished pets due to health, financial, or family issues. Local residents can surrender their cat or dog to SoHumane by appointment only. The dog or cat will be evaluated by our staff for health, temperament, and behavioral issues.
