Scar is physically disabled, he doesn't really seem mentally disabled. Not saying he can't be a source of inspiration, but there are many types of disabilities that are incomparable to Scar's. Also he has a very loving and supportive family and network of people. Overcoming mental and physical disabilities is much harder without a support network.
Well in Hermitcraft, dying is not really that big of a deal so Scar dies a lot cause he is not paying attention to not dying. Scar's biggest enemy is being distracted to be honest so being in a server were not dying is not the challenge, trying not to die will not be on Scar's mind.
