Jun 7, 2017 · 2017 6.7 Tune Advice. I recently did some mods to the truck and took off the space shuttle looking exhuast pupe and replaced it with a 4" pipe. I tuned it with ez-lynk's auto agent 2 and have experienced some hard shifting and haven't found a tune I think is best for the truck yet. I'm currently running: PDI Ford 17/19.
Slide the high-pressure fuel injection pump onto the mounting studs, and install the high-pressure fuel injection pump. Install the 3 high-pressure fuel injection pump spacers. Tighten to 24 Nm (18 lb-ft). I do not want any change in the height. My goal was to get a improved ride from the 2008 up Carli/Deaver full spring pack. At the same time remove all of the blocks to stop the axle wrap. 7" of blocks (springs 4-1/2"+2-1/2" flip)= 7" and no blocks. That was the intent. 2006 F250 LARIAT CCSB 4X4. 6.0 Diesel w/80K 6/19.2. That way you can see how your oil cooler is holding up etc. once you know how everything is doing then you'll know where to start. Also look in the 6.0 section at the stickies.
The lights and the wiring harness are available at your Ford dealer. 5 lights and 1wiring harness are about 75.00. The parts pictured are the stock numbers needed if you do not have a factory satellite radio. A different wiring harness is required if you have the factory satellite radio. It's extra work but it makes the entire project much easier, plus you can do a hutch/harpoon mod at the same time. Step 2: Trim the e-brake cable mounting bracket, your OEM hanger will straddle this. Step 3: OEM hanger in new location around e-brake cable bracket, four 1/2" holes drilled in frame to mount hanger.Ford issued clear statements that CK-4 and FA-4 are not to be used in any Ford Diesel engine without their spec being met. Ford is continuing to recommend CJ-4 oils w/ more than 1000ppm phosphorus. Problem is some CK-4 oils have <1000ppm phosphorus, and Ford believes this is causing their wear.The 5 is the cold rating and the 40 is the hot rating so its ok to use in the summer. I was running the T5 10-30 in my 6.0 up until i traded it in. They recommended 10-30 year round for that motor unless you were doing lots of heavy towing. So i would go right ahead and use the T6. For those who don't know: Remember that the 10W or 5W is just the cold start rating (W is for winter, not weight). If your truck is a single rear wheel F250 or F350 you likely have 3.73's in your Sterling 10.25 rear. Many people say the FICM, but you can do a search on here, and when you test it with an ohmeter, it should read 48volts.
