NinjaTrader might seem outdated and complicated but it really isn't. Its VERY customizable and I'm not sure if you know this but they own tradovate too. If you're looking for free there is the community edition of MotiveWave, another solid platform. tradovate is what i like the most is so straightforward, the biggest drawback is that you cant manage multiple accounts as seamlessly as you can on ninja. Tradovate is also our recommendation. I think managing multiple accounts will be better in the future with Tradovate, since Tradovate is now part of NinjaTrader.
