Android not showing voicemail notification.

Suddenly the voicemail on my S22 stopped working correctly. If someone calls me and leaves a message I am not notified. I have to go into the voicemail app and hit refresh. Once I do this, any voicemails suddenly appear. I have checked all settings/permissions that I know of and the notifications are turned on.Tap Apps. Expand all apps.
