Recently I've been getting these HARD freezes when trying to load into scav raid. As soon as ''awaiting session start'' pops, game will freeze so hard, that I cannot do anything except restarting my pc. When trying to get back in after restart, it happens again. Best advice is to do PMC runs and just hang back a bunch. You can easily loot the less popular areas with a Tri-Zip, flip on the flea, and make 300K/run with high SR if you just avoid high traffic and play slow. Scav runs are just a bad crutch once you learn the map. Penalties as they are right now, are just fine. People just need to get it into their head. Scavs mode is a free possibility so collect loot and very often good kits from dead players or raiders. In 4 out of 10 Scav runs, I get out dead player kits or decent armor or guns. And that's not even trying to encounter pvp.

Since hitting level 40 I've done nothing but scav runs except for 2 PMC raids on shoreline. Look around reserves roofs and you may will notice why reserve is the most worthwhile. imo go customs or factory for that quick extract, if u spend too much timr scavving that just takes away time from lvling pmc. interchange for hideout loot, reserve for raider / random loot, factory for a quick in and out. If they're 5 man in general they are usually trash players. Obviously there's exceptions but most good players are running 2-3 players max. And that is the case on Factory early wipe but last wipe I encountered some 5 man scav farmers and let's just say they weren't very good.just go to Reserve, one of the best for scav loot. I can get into any map, except streets, but yeah streets is now broken. Had no problems previous to patch except on wipe day. I’ve been trying to scav in on ground zero for about an hour and it hasn’t worked. What’s interesting is both of the maps had graphical changes in the patch. Broken for me also.

I only do scav runs when I see these kinds of threads and I go in for the express purpose of killing other scavs. If anything, I would be happy to see a higher penalty because that would indicate I killed a scav karma enthusiast. Because I don't care about scav runs, really none of these penalties people love to suggest would bother me at all.
