The infinite shine polishes are still regular nail lacquer, so you can use any lacquer base and top coat you want. Works fine, it's just regular nail polish. I use my usual top coat and base coat with it, no issues. I've used them with OPI rapidry top coat and Morgan Taylor stick with it base. I dont know what top and base youre planning on ...

Multiple thin coats is better than less thick coats for lasting ime. 1-2 layers of top coat (one glitter smoothing + one regular for textured polish) No more than two of the color should be needed. Because this is living skin, clipping it will cause it to callus and grow back hard and cracked (this is because the skin is basically trying to defend itself).
