Yes, this. DO NOT farm discovery mode- it does not drop there- also you cannot get the keys from discovery mode- only the normal raid. You need 5 keys to open the box- getting it from a boss drop is WAAAAY rare- I had it drop for me in the box 9 times in 130 runs- pre warlords. I’ve only gotten it 1 time in 34 runs after warlords.

I suspect each of them only drops with specific criteria, but what that is I am not sure. I mostly do strongholds in hard/challenging. Summit specifically has pathetic drop rates even on Legendary with 5 directives (what I play). Anderson is a guaranteed exotic every 10-15 minutes.
