Skewb turning might take a bit to used to in the beginning. And unless I'm using a different method, the single algorithm (of 4 moves) is repeated a different amount of time for solving the corners compared to solving the centers (at least in the method I use). 2x2x2 is not just edge-less, but also center-less; basically a corner-only 3x3x3.
