Monster tooth is super underrated and can hold you over until you get a slug or some other healing. Some characters have a lot of trouble getting out of combat, and need healing on-hit (like plant). Assuming base monster log drop chance is 1% and each instance of a Clover adds another chance of drop: With 0 Clovers, it would statistically take 459 kills to reach above 99% chance for at least 1 of the kills to drop a log. With 10 Clovers, it would statistically take 46 kills to reach above 99% chance for at least 1 of the kills to drop a log.
