Mar 9, 2007 · According to my manual, these are what options are left for "Cranks, but won't start". -Fuel line clogged. -Spark plugs not in good contact. -Spark plugs fouled or wet. -Incorrect Spark plug gap. -Incorrect valve clearance. I have taken the following off the list. -No fuel in tank. -Fuel broken down (used stabilizer) Find a multi-meter. Check to make sure that your battery has 12V~ at the terminals. The solenoid is located between the airbox and battery underneath the seat. It has two large wires (one coming directly from the battery) and two small wires connected to it. When you get in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th gear you can give it gas but it will not speed up right away, it will start speeding up slowly and once it gets enough speed it runs fine, or until you change to the next gear. My Prairie 400 (liquid cooled) has absolutely no fins on the head or cylinder. If you have any at all, it is the 300cc. The 300cc is oil/air cooled so that "mini radiator" you spotted would be the oil cooler.
