My thought is the feed will go to the fuel pump then to the larger output line from the fuel pump. Anyone have a picture of the fuel pump lines. Follow the line to the fuel filter. If it hooks to the filter, it is your pressure line (feed), if not, it is the return. 418 miles on 19 gallons of gas.

I want to remove this fuel pump and convert it back into the mechanical type pump, but I am unsure of how the new lines should be routed with the fuel delivery, return, and fuel vapor line from the carb.
The factory fuel filter, was installed level horizontally at a height that was slightly higher than the inlet of the carb. It also had a hard-line with a loop in it, between the filter and the carb. This prevents fuel from draining back to the pump, and makes start-ups faster. The fuel return line on the factory filter serves 2 purposes.

Replacing fuel check-valve on Wrangler. My wrangler doesn't start on the first try anymore. I turn the key and it just cranks. I wait a second and boom, it starts right up. It was suggested that my fuel check valve has gone bad and needs to be replaced. As far as I can tell, that check valve is in the top of the gas tank.
It's kind of a hard plastic line with "quick disconnects" on both ends. Should be this part number, 2.5L Eng. 5201 85441 YJ for the supply line. They don't make them anymore. Try your luck at the local pick-a-part yard.
