Passive Regen is anytime the truck is under enough load for the EGTs to be high enough under normal operation to clean the filter. That's all I got.That is spot on and a lesson learned when i pulled the tractor out yesterday with more time to wrap up regen. I ramped up the rpms to 1800+ and after a bit the system said: Active Regen, the RPM's went to 2500 for about 20 minutes and then it was finished.
