Feb 12, 2013 · I have a 2000 F150 and today the theft light started blinking going down the road and the truck died so i let it sit for a couple of hours and went back to it and it started right up. Does anyone know why it would just start blinking going down the road and kill the truck. try unplugging the battery and cleaning the terminals then try it again. Lock and unlock the drivers door with the key to reset, if that fails you will need the dealer to scan the system for the fault.
