What I suggest is a fourth option: Saliva only. This way means that the player can't get infected with scratches, only bites.Bites always make you infected, depending on settings you have about a week before you are ultra dead, however scratches, lacerations, and anything else a zombie inflicted, *can* still kill you via infection, but carry a much lower chance too, iirc, bites only carry 7% at base. with zombie triggering alarm you know that there is no alarm if there is a zombie inside, or a zombie could fire an alarm a draw attention away from you.
