Not even gonna lie, the default Ash of War is already excellent unless you're doing PvP. Nagakiba is so INSANELY long the super fast draw of Unsheathe lets it rip into enemies that aren't even really in melee range of you. You can also, amusingly, put Lion's Claw on it for all that posture damage and the pancake on smaller enemies. #5.

Thanks. If it changes stat scales like you said then the strength stat would be the better damage choice. Your ash of war and wetblade will determine how you scale any weapon. Making an Item fire, changes it to STR primary stat. Nagakiba does better Dex as making it keen Gives A scaling in Dex. Flame makes it B in Faith, Magic, B in INT, Cold ...
