This is my build, I'm playing as a tank magus right now! I'm using Bastion free archetype with Orc anchestry, to comensate magus low health. Inexorable iron is a 2 wielding weapon study. This class grant a lot of temporary hit points and things like that. The sparkling targe is a shield tank that can block magic.My understanding is that Eldritch Scion is more focused on damage and Sword Saint is more tanking focused. Either archetype can be specced for DPS, AC tanking, or a bit of both. But in terms of relative advantages: Eldritch Scion (ES) sorcerer bloodlines grant bonus spells and other perks. E.g., Draconic bloodline for access to Dragon Disciple ...That is the biggest hurdle for this build imo. You won't be a full gunslinger, so won't have your way reload until later levels to help even out your action economy. And Magus in general is already pretty action starved. Starlit is less so than the melee centric ones, but spellstrike being 2 actions makes it tough to fit in reload actions.
