The air pressure spec on the ahi is 34-40 psi. If it is reaching 42-44 that is a little high and if the fuel pump on the engine is worn some, it will cause an issue with the fuel pressure not being able to override it. I would also make sure there is zero oil and water in the air line to the ahi module.
