Forum Rules. Have a Jandy 1400 throwing 120 & 121 codes. It's 2 years old and was a warranty replacement of another cell so I'm thinking I don't get warranty coverage. Nevertheless, I pulled the DC cable from the cell and the center pin is loose and can almost be pulled right out. There is also a drop of water leaking out very slowly.I called Jandy/Zodiac tech support and they walked me thru testing the power board. I was only getting erratic power readings to the ignitor, anywhere from 36-75V. Tech support said my next step is to replace the High Voltage assembly, so I have one ordered and will give this another crack when the part arrives.Pretty much the the same scenario I am going through. Got the 171/190 codes so I replaced the backboard yesterday. The cell was replaced 2 years ago, and the sensor was replaced one year ago.Should be somewhere between 19.898K ohms (50 degrees) - 5.327K ohms (104 degrees). Although, if you are getting a failure code, it is probably open/disconnected. Either a failure proper, or possibly a pest has chewed the wires. BTW, if you have a salt system, the temp sensor may have failed due to the salt water.

20. Posted February 18, 2011. My Jandy LXi heater seems to not be working. It looks like it normally does, even lets me choose between Pool or Spa. It says Remote TSTAT enabled, which I believe is for my Jandy remote. I go to fire it up (booster pump is running already of course) and nothing happens. After a minute or so, it says "Ign Fault".
