Baby measured at 6W1D and, while they found a heart beat, it was only in the 80s and the gestational sac was an irregular shape. The NP said that it could go either way but it isn't a great prognosis. We have another scan tomorrow to check on whether there have been any improvements. So you aren't alone in this!

Doubling rate isn’t helpful past an hCG of 6000. I would absolutely ask for a repeat ultrasound in a week. The 5-6 week mark is filled with uncertainty for so many pregnancies.
