Your 3090 doesnt matter there, Terminal Overload and Vex Strike Force murder CPU. Destiny is very cpu heavy game. Im on 7800X3D, supposedly „king of gaming cpus” and if only people use volatile rounds or strand during these events it shreds my FPS, i drop from always stable 138 fps (my g-sync cap) to like 80 fps

I have been maining strand since it came out and every time I've done a vex strike force with strand on my game crashed so I tried one with arc warlock instead of strand and I just barely made it through, there was one strand hunter playing in the same instance as me and when we got to the 3 minotaur bosses in one spot I got pretty big lag spikes .

Bungie, this vex strike force event you made is pretty cool! It's just a shame that I've literally never been able to experience it fully and get the rewards because the dang game crashes right toward the end. Every. Damn. Time. Happens in override too rarely but holy crap is this annoying. I just want the exotic!!Remember, the vex-vasion event happens from 15 minutes before the hour to 15 minutes after the hour. It will show up as a public event on the map, same as a normal event. However, you can move your cursor over it to get more information to pop up. That pop up will tell you if it is a normal public event or a vex invasion.In the Vex Incursion Zone, players will face high-level Vex, and will be rewarded with Strand Meditations to progress their strand sub-class. This zone also features the occasional Vex Strike Force public event. WELL, in face of all that was said, purplosely nerf (or just being "inconsistent" with) the vex event shows a lot how unrespectful is Bungie with their players.
