The best way I got the memento for my friend was to look at the map and see which area loot drops backpacks. Then put a couple of directives on and farm like crazy in that area. I actually got two memento drops in the same evening using this technique!

Did I have to be….Anderson manhunt is by far the most efficient exotic farm right now. Summit specifically has pathetic drop rates even on Legendary with 5 directives (what I play). Anderson is a guaranteed exotic every 10-15 minutes. Even better if you play with friends and you share loot.
