The model 10-6 was the heavy barreled variant. As Injunbro said, the gun is from the 69-70 time period. Value is hard to determine without seeing it.

The -7 and -8 have always confused me. I have seen no definitive descrpiption of either one other than -7 was two piece barrel and -8 was slab side barrel.
