It is .570" high and has a 1/16" gold bead. It was shooting about 6" high at 25yds with the factory sights and the rear sight set a low as it would go.

Go for an ivory or gold bead. If you want visable go for fiber optic. The peep takes the back sight out of the equation it is the military standard for the last 100 years. Fiber Optic gathers light.
