The smoky character on their whiskies always reminds me of burning paper (while Caol Ila, Lagavulin and Ardbeg remind me of a campfire and Laphroaig makes me think of a cigarette). Costco Kirkland Islay versions Just had the luck of stumbling across both of Costco's Single Malt Tour of Scotland and 750ml Islay Single Malt, so I had to pick them up. Now I'm wondering whether the 200ml Islay in the Tour is the same as the 750ml one. Their ABV values are not the same - 46% vs 50%.
