It has degenerated into a bitchfest replete with self proclaimed know-it-alls. Most of the really knowledgable FALers are gone.Ok, what I've seen is. * Austrian FAL mags have witness holes. * Israeli is stamped with the 80letters or letters in oval. * Argentine/Brazil have grey phosphate followers. * Belgian has blued followers. The pics of the above 3 different followers/floorplates have no witness holes and no israeli stamping. Differneces I see.Just picked up an FAL with two DSA polymer mags and one Moses mag. Had to file the back of one of the DSA's and the Moses. I'm finding that the top round of both of these mags are getting dented and gouged just from racking a round into the chamber. Also I noticed while cleaning the rifle that a sliver of the Moses mag broke off.just fired it in a Fal. had 2 case neck seperations at end of 1st 20. Tried cavim for 10 rds,cleaned it. 2nd round of a diff box of the 82 OFV the case head came off.Had this stuff laying. around for 4yrs in good sealed gi ammo can. What did fire was all over the place. Cavim in same gun was around 1 1/2"-1 3/4.
