Baby is probably head down and low hence the pressure. Head down low and engaged would make you dilate. 2cm is nothing to worry about- plenty of women walk around dilated 1-3 cm and have no idea until 35 weeks when dr does an internal exam.

When i was 36 weeks i had to be induced to preeclampsia and it made me 2cm dilated. for unnessary reasons they sent me home after inducing mw for two days. came back 5 days later to get induced again and was still 2cm. 1 or 2 cm dont really mean anything 4 or 5 does. it just means your bodys preparing for baby! have fun and good luck!
