Nope, that did not work. It starts up fine about 80% of the time now. Its got to be a sensor somewhere. Replaced the battery in the pickup, all good (bad cell). Jumped the D and it fired right up with a booster box, haven't had a problem since, making sure to drive it to work once every week or so, which is a one hour drive on the highway each way, last used it on Tuesday of this week, no issues. After a couple days, the truck started and ran as normal, started on the first key turn every time. Fast forward to this week, and the intermittent start issue is back. I've noticed this quite a few times since new and can't seem to find a similar reason. It doesn't really matter if it's hot or cold, the tank is full or a quarter, parked flat or on an incline, etc.

2012 Dodge Durango 3.6 awd 105k miles intermittent starting issue. Every other day or so it won't start the first attempt and will just turn off then will start the 2nd attempt. This will happen on cold start and warm start. It drives just fine, no issues with acceleration etc.

Loosen the screw and unplug and clean off any dirt and debris, then put a coating of di-electric grease on the connections and plug it back in.
