I've got a 06 300 2.7 that is overheating. Water is being pushed back into the reservoir and was blowing out the weep hole . I have changed the tstat twice, new water pump, new temp sensor, new hoses, new reservoir, new radiator, new bleeder all done within the last 1-9 months.This will force the air out of the system. Run the car with the recovery tank cap off and watch the level. You may see a few more bubbles come up. Shut it down, put in enough coolant to put it at the hot/full level, cap it and let it cool off. Check the level again in the morning.
