Yeah, I just played around with my megaminx and that is weird. I can't get only three permuted edges, irrelevant of LL corners. Solve the rest of it, disregarding permuting the edges. If you can get the puzzle to a point where there's nothing but two swapped pieces, then the puzzle was tampered with.
