I am having a similar problem with my 2001 Bayou 220. I bought it in non-running condition, but the prior owner said it just died one day. The engine has compression of 165. Great spark with plug resting on head (no idea if that is true inside the cylinder) Cleaned the carb well, and it is getting fuel (plug will get wet if keep cranking)
