John deere instrument panel not working.

I have a 1999 4300 with over 2025 hours on it and my temp gauge also pegs HOT. Sometimes it sticks there when the tractor is shut off. If you thump your fist above the temp guage the needle goes back to the off position. I have replaced my sending unit and would like to put an aftermarket temp gauge on the tractor.Location.
