you must have done the lost sector at least once normally plus you must reach the soft power cap for them to appear on your destinations map. The soft power cap for Season of the Chosen is 1250. I think legend lost sectors may becapped from 1190 to 1219/1225 ish Light. Which is why I can't see them anymore at 1230.

It's not showing up for anyone because bungie disabled it due to cheese. Bungie disabled it due to an "issue." Either that means something was broken making it ridiculously hard or people found a way to cheese it and farm exotics insanely fast. You could skip everything but one champion and the boss to get platinum rewards in less than a minute.

I had a new character that did not show the legend lost sector from today. Went to the EDZ and ran it once and as soon as I did and went back to the entrance the icon was there to start the legend version. Just ran it 4 times and got the new titan exotic.
