Still playing though BotW in Cemu, so wanted to get an idea of what kind of performance one can expect with TotK in Yuzu. I can currently play BotW at 4k60fps with no AA, medium to high settings. Specs are Ryzen 3600x w/16gb and RX 5700xt. I think it runs better than cemu. cemu had to have a lot of mods and updates to run decently. The game is pretty on Wii U and Switch, but is downright gorgeous on Cemu. The advantages for og hardware are cost (the costs of console/game/and a rig powerful enough to run cemu at higher settings is a lot) and more stability with no emulation quirks or missing assets (though I found that to be very minimal), and offline portability with ...Cemu actually makes it much easier to run botw even better than yuzu. Yuzu is extremely system demanding. Low end low fps. if you are only getting 20fps in Cemu, then I highly doubt you can run the game at all in Yuzu. either that, or you screwed up your settings in Cemu, because it really doesn't take much to run the game at stock speeds.

Cemu simply had more developement time plus a lot more focus on BotW specifically. yuzu and ryujinx will get there eventually but it will take more time. Cemu no contest. Yuzu has an early access version that supposedly has amazingly improved performance, making the Switch version of BotW actually playable on the Deck. I haven't tried it personally, but my news feed has been blowing up with it the past week or so. I'd look into that. For reference, I'm on a much older i7-6800k + RTX 2080 + 32GB DDR4 and sit at the 30 fps cap in BotW Yuzu. (no idea how many frames I'm geting over 30) BotW Yuzu just doesn't run great when compared to Cemu. If Tears runs anywhere near 30 fps by the end of 2023, I'll be happy.
